Airway Orthodontics
Airway-focused orthodontics treats the mouth as part of a larger system. A narrow jaw, low tongue posture, or crowded airway can affect sleep, focus, energy, and long-term health. Modern orthodontics can help create space to breathe.

Why airway matters
Children and adults with restricted airways often experience mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, fatigue, and even attention issues. The shape of the jaw and palate plays a major role in how easily air moves through the upper airway.
How we evaluate
As part of every comprehensive exam, we use a 3D cone beam scan to assess jaw structure, airway space, and breathing patterns in detail. When the findings call for it, we take a closer look at tongue function as well.
What treatment looks like
Depending on age and findings, treatment may include palatal expansion, jaw guidance appliances, clear aligners, braces, surgical orthodontics, or myofunctional therapy referral. Every plan is built around the individual patient.
Who it helps
Children with crowded teeth, mouth breathing, or restless sleep, and adults dealing with snoring, jaw tension, or symptoms of sleep-disordered breathing.
